Today, I had the opportunity to attend the Emergency Rally for Immigration Rights at the Ithaca Commons today. It was extremely touching to see hundreds of people of different religions, ethnicities, and ages come together for a cause. I’m reminded that even though the Trump administration has caused a lot of division in this country, it has also been bringing people together. These photos of children holding hand-made signs about acceptance reminded me of the innocence of children, and how they don’t see race when they meet each other the way that adults do. These are some of my favorite pictures that I took at the rally.
